The Legacy of AfricanRuralOutreach

Rooted in faith since 1986, AROAD is a charitable organization that operates a specialized sponsorship model. In the USA, we operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, while our Ugandan heart beats through Restoring Broken Knees (RBK). Based in Kyotera, RBK is a registered local organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable youth.

Our mission honors the late Mzee Richard Bakulumpagi Kabazzi, whose initials form the RBK name. He served the Rakai community with deep sacrifice, bringing hope and evangelism to children affected by the early 1980s HIV/AIDS crisis. Today, we carry his torch, ensuring his spirit of compassion continues to transform lives across generations.

Our Vision
  • To uphold the sacrificial legacy of Mzee Richard through dedicated child sponsorship, transparent stewardship of USA resources, and a commitment to Christ-centered growth in Uganda.
